CPS Energy’s Community Engagement teams are dedicated to enhancing customer service through comprehensive support and resources. Community Engagement fosters community awareness and participation in assistance programs by prioritizing energy equity, safety education, and compassionate customer support. Community Engagement specialized teams, including the Customer Response Unit (CRU), Community Outreach, and Casa Verde Weatherization, collectively ensure our customers are connected to the programs suitable for their assistance. 

 
 

The Customer Response Unit (CRU)

The Customer Response Unit (CRU) offers personalized support tailored to customer needs. CRU provides services to raise community awareness, enhance enrollment in various customer assistance programs, and support the community during outages, ensuring residents have the resources and guidance to navigate difficult situations. CRU’s holistic approach empowers customers to access the services they need for a better quality of life.

The Community Outreach Team

Community Outreach builds community trust by forming partnerships to help share our message on assistance programs, energy efficiency, and safety. The outreach team engages with the community by connecting with existing and untapped resources and educating the public on safety and awareness efforts related to natural gas and electrical safety for schools, contractors, and first responders.
